Yes, I am an otherkin, you heard that right, but before you decide to go and hate me, just listen. An otherkin is a person who identifies as nonhuman, typically as being wholly or partially an animal or mythical being. I understand that I am human, so don't go saying that I have issues n' such, cuz I know I do, but they don't relate in any way to this. - I have two kintypes- the kitsune and a demon. I'll start with kistune since that's the main one I connect with. Ever since I was little, I've always had the ability to run on all fours unlike anyone else I've ever met. I'd always see myself as a canine, but it didn't feel quite right- as if I was a little something else. I grew very fond of foxes when I got a bit older, and soon was able to mimic the sounds of foxes very well. Then, I found out about the one and only mischievous kitsune. My mind went crazy when I discovered these things. A couple months ago, I had a past life dream, and it all made sense. In my "past life", I was a young, japanese girl (or a kitsune in disguise) trying to train for an entertainment district. The teacher had always hated me but for no reason. I did everything right, I learned quickly, and I never caused trouble. One day he was teaching us how to walk with these expensive, exotic plates, because we had to also be able to serve the people in the district as well. He had said to become one with your mind, but don't fill the plate with your thoughts. I didn't understand what it meant exactly, but I did as he said, and I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I opened my eyes to find myself standing in what seemed to be my mind. There was nothing around, but a lavender purple void. I started to walk around, trying to see what could have possibly been there, and that's when I saw it. A big, shadowy, chained up beast. I walked up to it because I'm stupid, and it opened it's luminous, purple eyes, broke through the chains and lunged at me. Just then, a heard my plate break as I opened my eyes to see that I just broke a very expensive plate. The teacher looked down at me in anger and irritation. He kicked me out as he said very mean things to me. Then he said something that made me snap. I quickly converted into a large kitsune and tore and burned the whole district down. I ran away after that, but later on I got caught, and was stabbed in the heart. So here I am now. - The demon kin type just makes sense. When I was two, I somehow managed to climb a whole fridge and get a hold of some big knives. You can't say that's not at all concerning. I'm also usually feeling sinister or have dark thoughts in my mind. Like, very often.
