Basilpasta is still sick, and Pestoyum is acting like the complete idiot he is. So let’s all take a deep breath, stop arguing and figure out a plan.” “Okay,” Pestoyum meowed. “What should we do about this?” Basilpasta spoke up. “I think you should let Noodlepasta and I go on a quest to find Cheese. Just like every other generic fanfiction.” “Good idea!” Noodlepasta said. “I love generic fanfictions!” “STOP TALKING ABOUT GENERIC FANFICTIONS!” Pestoyum screamed. “Fine. You can go on your quest.” “Wha- no! No, they can’t! Basilpasta is sick, she can’t go on a quest!” It’sCorn protested. “But going on the quest is the only way I can get better!” she replied. “THAT’S NOT HOW SICKNESS WORKS!” “It’sCorn, please leave,” Pestoyum ordered. “But- but this is my den.” “I don’t care.” The leader turned to Noodlepasta. “You promise you’ll keep Basilpasta safe? And that you’ll both come home in one piece?” “Yes, father.” “Good. You may go now,” Pestoyum dismissed them. Then, he said to himself, “This is a great idea. Two inexperienced apprentices, one of them with a deadly illness, about to go on a dangerous quest. What could possibly go wrong?”
