Welcome to the second session of Scratch Inspiration Camp, or SIC! Please read through all of the following information before signing up. Thank you! SIC is a biannual (taking place twice a year) camp here on Scratch. This session will take place over the course of one month, from June 1st to June 30th. During SIC, participants set minute goals for themselves and work to spend at least that amount of time finding inspiration and outlets for your inspiration. More on what counts for minutes below! But that’s not all! SIC, like most Scratch camps, also includes fun daily activities that allow you to gain points for your cabin and increase your abilities in the current week’s field. SIC does not have weeklies or weekendlies, instead, each participator works on a session-long project. Completion and sharing of this project will earn you tons of points for your cabin! There are four cabins this session: Ethereal, Lodestar, Yggdrasil, and Mirabilis. Campers will be sorted into a cabin and work on camp activities as well as a final project of their choice, both of which earn their cabin points. This is just a basic description of the camp; if you have any further questions, feel free to ask! Signups will be open until May 24th. To sign up, all you have to do is answer the following questions in the comments. 1. Do you have any plans or commitments in June that will affect your activity levels? 2. What is your minute goal for this session? 3. Please choose one or two *cabins* from the list below that you would prefer to be in. If you don't have a preference, that's fine! Just say so :D 4. We’re very flexible about what counts for minutes, as we want you to follow your inspiration. Generally, if you are intentionally learning or working on a project, it counts. You are required to give a brief summary of what you’re adding minutes for, (something like “20 minutes reading a novel for english” is perfect), so that the hosts and counsellors can get a sense of what you’re working on and make sure you aren’t adding minutes for something that doesn’t count.
