(All the characters are named after different gems.) I now have 270+ followers, so close to 300 :) Read all the relavent instructions if you’d like to enter. Also 70th project yaay ? What is a DTA ? DTA stands for “Draw To Adopt.” The host, (me), will draw a few character designs. Other people will see the designs, and if they like them, will try to enter. To enter, you must remix the project and redraw the character you’d like to enter for. After the due date, (TBD), the host will judge all the entries and choose a winning entry for each character. If you win a character, that design is now yours! / Rules For Entries ( everyone can enter as long as you follow these) / - The drawing itself must be 100% by you (no picrews, gacha, screenshots, tracing, bases or art theft in any way.) - You can enter for as many characters as you’d like, but you can only win 1. - No genderbending or changing species (sorry) - Digital art or traditional art will be accepted, as long as it’s entirely by you. - You can make some character design changes, but nothing too major. - It doesn’t matter if you entry is a remix, as long as it’s in the right studio. (Link will be in notes and credits) ! If you break these rules, you entry WON’T COUNT and you will be disqualified ! Character info is in project. If there is anything I didn’t say about the characters, feel free to ask or invent some lore on your own! DUE DATE/DEADLINE: The deadline is July 1st, meaning this contest will have been open for 2 months. ? What am I looking for ? Here are some things you could do to help your entry win. - Capture the character’s original vibes in your art - Draw small details to make it interesting - Draw different and cool expressions! - Draw a cool pose - Draw a cool background/setting - Make it different from the original artsyle, add your own style to spice things up! And none of those things are required, just recommended. FAQ: Q: Can I enter? A: Of course! As long as you aren’t disqualified, and it must be before the due date. Q: Can I enter for multiple characters in one entry? A: Yes, but you can only win for one of them! (And no you don’t get to choose which one you win lol) Q: Is this still open? A: Not anymore Q: Is it fine for me to draw the character on paper then trace it? A: Ofc! These designs were originally on paper and then traced anyway lol Q: Do I have to draw it full body or can I just draw the top of the body? A: No need to do the full body, just part of it is fine!
