• here's the trivia project for my Sea-lionkit application! I'll most likely be adding onto this little by little until the litter closes! • back to the application! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/836909749/ - Random thought, but I've been thinking about this ever since I saw the litter project haha-- I think Sea-lionkit would be a little jealous of her siblings eye colors. I mean, can you blame her? They're just so pretty!! It of course won't have any real affect on their relationship, but it might be brought up from time to time! - I think she'd be a little embarrassed by her night terrors, and once she's an apprentice might want to seek somewhere other than the apprentice den to sleep. She wouldn't want to disturb anyone! - she definitely wishes she had ear tufts hahaha. All she wants is to match her siblings!! - I think she'll be extremely spiritual as a kit and young apprentice. She'll take to the idea of StarClan very quickly and with lots of faith. In her kithood it wouldn't be strange to see her praying to the stars or looking eagerly for signs in nature. However, in her late apprenticeship she'll probably fall away from faith completely. It's just another way to relate her to me, and I think it would be an interesting arc for her! - Her old name would be Sailor <3 I have no idea why, but I've gotten really attached to it hahaha. Her siblings could use Sail as a nickname for her. - her mother named her Sailor because she always thought her kitten was destined for the seas. It was merely a romantic, frivolous reason, but it's still nice to this day for Sea-lionkit to think about - in the days after her mother's death, Sea-lionkit will have put all of her energy into surviving, and trying to protect her younger siblings. As such, she wouldn't have had time to grieve-- in fact, she wouldn't really feel much at all. I imagine that she'll still feel very numb when being found, but when finally brought back to camp and safety, she'll finally feel secure enough for her body to shut down and her emotions will come in a tidal wave. - I think she'd be absolutely transfixed with fish. She'd find them so beautiful. Especially koi, I think. Perhaps that could be a future plot as well-- befriending a kittypet because she likes the koi pond their twolegs have - I like the thought of Artemis weaving lavender into nests to help herself sleep, so I think Sea-lionkit would really really like the scent! - on that note, Sea-lionkit would originally smell like lavender when found! It would probably fade, because I don't think she'd ask to have lavender in her nest since she wouldn't want to bother Sea-snakeshiver about it or deplete the herb stocks, but once she's an older apprentice I think she'd start putting it into her nest again. She might even experiment with other herbs like sage or rosemary, so whatever she decides on will affect her scent! In her late kithood and early apprenticeship she'd probably just smell like sand, and maybe sea salt! - actually something that might be interesting is Sea-lionkit worshipping a sea deity eventually. I don't actually know how this would happen lmao, maybe someone will convert her to their religion, who knows! But since I'd plan for her to be very water/ocean oriented, I think it'd be fitting! - with this in mind, I think her fall from faith would be something a lot more complicated than what I originally had in mind. Especially since I think she'd still believe in StarClan as an afterlife-- she just wouldn't believe that they had any power over the living world like she originally would think. So in the endgame, her beliefs would stand as such: she believes in a sea god, one with enough influence to affect the living world, whether physically or through fate. She also believes that cats go to StarClan or the Dark Forest when they die, but these are just afterlives to her, and she doesn't think they have any affect on the living world. In her youth, however, she'd believe that StarClan has control over pretty much everything happening, whether it be the dead or the living that they're affecting. - obsessed with the idea of Sea-snakeshiver teaching Sea-lionkit sea shanties - I'm not super great at voice claims, but I've been imaging her adult voice to sound like the artist Sir Chloe-- specifically in Squaring Up - generally I'm not super big on accessories but I just had the best idea omg-- fake little flamingo feather ear tufts so she can match with her siblings!! - Yoooo what if the sight of blood and wounds makes her nauseous/faint? That might be interesting :0 - Sea-lionkit will love the few rainy days in the desert. I imagine that it reminds her of her old home <3 - human au name Sayla! I might add more human au fun facts but idk right now haha - Sea-lionkit's love languages are touch and gift giving! She'll snuggle up to anyone she loves and she's really big on gifts, too, even if she stresses on whether or not they'll like them
