We got a small 3D printer recently, so I've started to teach myself to design in 3D. I wanted to create some 3D Scratch blocks to play with, and I thought I'd share the results with you! UPDATED: now made a version 2! In v2, the control blocks (like repeat and forever) can expand to fit in as many blocks as you like. My final design has some component parts that can be put in place to make it multicolor, and then I used Sharpie marker or paint on the lettering to make them stand out. Hope you enjoy!
I used Tinkercad to create my 3D Scratch blocks design. Under a certain age, you need a guardian's approval to create an account. There is an option there to use code blocks to create designs, and I'm slowly teaching myself how to design that way as well.
