If you want to actually see the art, view in fullscreen because Scratch ruins the quality (._.') So this is my entry in @GameGirlX's 10.5k DMC (big milestone, congrats ggx :3) Before you ask, all art shown in this project was made in Krita, a completely free digital drawing, painting and animation software that I highly recommend :3 A bit of an explanation of each piece: 1. Definitely the best of the bunch, I made this one last and struggled A LOT with the colour. I'm quite happy with the way it turned out, however. 2. So for this one, I referenced Maleficent from sleeping beauty for the face lol. It was going well until I started working on the line art, at which point everything suddenly began looking like garbage. The piece shown in this project is just the sketch, because I quit before finishing the line art. :/ 3. Similar story for this one. The whole thing fell apart when I tried painting it, so I left it as a sketch. I'm actually super happy with the way the hair turned out though. :3 4. So I managed to do full line art on this one loll. It's Princess Emy again, and the facial expression is just *chef's kiss*. Once again, I think the hair turned out great. 5. Ok, so this one's a little different. My first idea when entering this contest was to make A FULL ANIMATED SHORT and I got decently far into production, having animated almost the full thing in rough, before realizing that the story of the short was boring and that I wouldn't have time to finish it. This one bit of animation is probably all that you will ever see, because everything else looks far worse and I'd prefer that no human ever lay eyes on it again! :3 ====================================== So, thanks for viewing my entry and reading this far! I made these entries over the span of two months, and I have seen my art improve A LOT since I started. I'll probably be sharing a massive art dump with my hundreds (yes, hundreds) of drawings from the last two months very soon :3 Also, congrats to everyone else who has entered GGX's contest! The competition is indeed fierce :o #art
