• welcome one and all to my application! I hope you enjoy! • Hello hello!! I go by Smoothie here on Scratch, and use she/ae pronouns! I'm an upperclassmen in highschool, touring colleges, dreading the AP exams, all that jazz! In my free time I like to read mostly, or chill and draw with my little sister while listening to my music! I do have after school activities as well, though most of them, like tennis and the musical, are in the fall, I also compete in Science Olympiad, which goes on the whole school year! I have a job as well, I work at a garden store :D I of course love to roleplay and also write occasionally, though without a TFCRP character my interest in Scratch has been second to many other things in my life. Hopefully I can win a litter in time to have a kit to roleplay during the summer! ⠀• usually my activity fluctuates a lot, and I commonly use the scale of 5-10/10. 5 meaning I check once or twice in a day and respond to a few things, and 10 meaning I'm on for the whole day! Breaks for me are never without reason, though most of the time, they're small ( only one or two days ) and I usually don't share the reason simply because I'm uncomfortable with that. I must admit that I'm bad at remembering to alert people I'm going on breaks, but then again, usually there isn't a reason to, as it's either small or I don't have any obligations! A kit would of course change this, so I'd be more careful with notifying people! ⠀• I've been roleplaying on Scratch for 6 years now! Though I really only started taking it seriously when I made this account, which was over one and a half years ago. I've been in multiple larger RPs such as TFCRP ( Frond-6 months, Dunebug-4 months, Susurri-2 months ), SPUF ( Amityhawk-kept until RP died ), EoSCRP ( Snowfall-technically I still have her, though I was only active with her for about 7 or 8 months? ), BDRP ( Ardentshine-kept until RP died ), and Elements ( various characters, most notable being Ripplespirit-kept for over a year, though there was a pause in between ). And of course, there's been countless other smaller RPs. I currently only have one semi-active character, Vertigomyst in WWRP! ⠀• I do not currently have a character in TFCRP! ⠀• The length I keep characters averages out to about 7 months, using the numbers above! ⠀• I do injure characters physically from time to time, as most of my characters tend to either be reckless or aggressive ( rip ). Honestly Sea-lionkit probably isn't going to be spared from this trendline, due to her impulsiveness and protectiveness, and her tendency to bite off more than she can chew. As for mental/emotional, it also happens, though I feel like that is much less going to be in my control, given that the most common emotional pain that I see, both in my characters and others, is grief. ⠀• I'm applying for Sea-lionkit!! She'll be afab and 6.2 in tall at her final height. Sexuality wise she'll be lesbian, and possibly aspec! I think it would be interesting if she was lithromantic, but I'm still considering. As for gender, I'm not sure yet! Should I win her I'll let her grow into herself and decide later! As such, I'll be using she/her pronouns for this application! And as for age, I'll probably have her start at 4 moons! It'll make the fact that she tried to care for the other two so hard that much more tragic >:) ⠀• Why do I want this kit? I'll admit that it's partially the design tempting me. Actually, quite a bit more than partially! It's just so beautiful, the right amount of complicated so that it's not too hard for me to draw, yet still eye catching and unique! I love colorpoint cats as well as speckles ( omg speckles my beloved, I will love them forever ) and the design utilizes both of these things so well! A short and stocky character will be fun to draw as well, and I find her fur texture pleasing to the eye! There are, of course, other reasons!! I've been looking exclusively at litters with a connection to WindClan, as I really really do love the community in that clan! RiverClan is my favorite clan when it comes to concept as well, though I will admit that TFCRP clans differ greatly from the cannon clans by well. So, in that case, this kit is giving me my dream blend of clans! Another reason is the relationship and the situation that comes with it. I'll admit that I don't know too much about the Frisky duo, but a cross clan relationship is always a fun thing to explore! Besides, the split litter is a very interesting idea to me, and I know for a fact that Sea-lionkit would much rather have her family all together rather than split apart, especially her siblings... Which is a plot point I would love to explore! I think she'd definitely do some things she'd regret to get her family all in one place. I've been entertaining some other ideas for plot as well! +
One is her leaving camp in late kithood, trying to make her way to WindClan to visit her siblings, and accidentally ending up in ThunderClan! Another would be her seeking out the medicine cat role, despite not actually wanting it, just because she thinks it would make Sea-snakeshiver happy. Any further plots I'm not sure about, since so much can happen in her kithood and apprenticeship that might change plans and ideas! As for why I deserve her? I'm going to be honest here: I've been waiting a long, long time. I've been searching for a kit that I really connect to for a few months now, and I think I finally might have found her. There's been a lot of tempting kits the last few months, but only a few have really called out to me, and Sea-lionkit is one of them. And, I truly would do my best to give her a really good life. The overgrown fangs is a disability that is required, but I decided to add night terrors! It's something I've been pondering adding to an RP character. My little sister has had them all of her life, so I'll be RPing Sea-lionkit's from her experiences and from what I've learned living in the same house with her! First, the overgrown fangs! Since cats descended from Asian cats are more likely to have them, it's likely that Sea-lionkit has some Siamese blood in her! Overgrown fangs make it hard for cats to eat hard food without hurting themselves in the process, and though it's true that the fish RiverClan eats is softer than cat kibble, it doesn't get rid of this issue completely. And since her fangs are exposed and she doesn't have the luxury of a toothbrush, Sea-lionkit's teeth are likely to deteriorate faster than others. From mine and my sister's experience, Sea-lionkit's night terrors will usually begin an hour or two after she falls asleep. Either she'll scream suddenly, drawing attention to herself, or she'll begin with quiet blubbering and get up and sleepwalk, usually to a den/someone she knows. Her night terrors will consist of confusing, disconnected sentences and sometimes just random disjointed words. Touching her will make them worse, and talking will slowly bring her out of them. By the time she's answering questions relatively coherently or eating/drinking, that means she's okay to go back to bed without another screaming fit. As she grows older she'll begin to grow out of them, though very slowly. She'll be more prone to sleepwalking and talking, but she won't scream or cry nearly as much. She'll love her a whole lot and will probably idolize him too. I think she'd do a lot purely because she wants to make her proud of her, and she'll trust and confide in him a lot more than she would with others. Sicariushug will be a bit of a different situation. She won't be spending as much time with xem anyways, and I don't think she'd warm up too well to xem with xyr harsher personality, especially when compared to Sea-snakeshiver's coddling. Still, she'll definitely feel indebted to xem and will probably like anyone Sea-snakeshiver and her siblings like, so I'm sure their relationship would still be good. She's probably view xem as more of a step-parent. ⠀• she probably wouldn't have a favorite color, but would love all the brightest, most saturated ones! Maybe I'll have her like yellow just like me hehehe. I imagine that her favorite color will be affected by anything that happens, too-- for instance, if she were to be gifted a pink flower early on or something, that might affect it! ⠀• Otherwise, I don't think I have anything else to say! As for now, this is still in progress, and probably will be until the litter is closed!
