Dred Scott's new album, Freedom Fighter
Dred Scott was a liberated slave, bought by a (I think a union soldier) he was still property of his master but allowed to make his own family, get a job, he moved to two free states, Illinois and Wisconsin, but when his master died, he was moved back to his original state (i forgor) after he moved back, he asked to be free, since he technically already was, but his new master, his original master wife said no, and he even tried to buy his own freedom. He then sued her and did not win his freedom, but eventually he did after the states Supreme Court said he didn't and he brought it to the Federal Supreme Court which I think denied his freedom but it was unconstitutional there own ruling and then they re did it or something, I kind of forgor lol but anyways history is still rad and so is he!
