(This meme is amazing I can't) Apparently Gertrude fought in WWII and joined the Navy in one of my old comics from 2018. How old is this bird- The comic was basically Gertrude's origin story. So apparently she was a very experienced pilot in WWII (I was at a museum while making this) and she bombed a whole enemy city with an egg? According to the comic, she's been fighting ever since and then joined the Navy, where she cooked food and did all that stuff. After a few years of serving, she finally resigned and opened a gosh darn restaurant. Somehow she wasn't crushed by the horrors of war?
