Yes, the other one I posted was fake and wrong in many ways, in some ones I used the correct sounds and the others not. Anyways let me discuss the flaws I purposely put in that project. 1: Windows 1.0 to 3.0 never had a start-up or shutdown noise. 2: Windows NT 5.0 used the Windows NT 4.0 shutdown sound unreally so and was also just a beta build of Windows 2000 dubbed as Windows 99. 3: Windows Server 2003 and Windows Longhorn both used Windows XP sounds, the UK version was from a commercial and not the real start-up sound (yes I've tested Server 2003 and Longhorn on a VM). 4: Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 sounds I used were not there official start-up sounds, in fact the Windows 8 and 8.1 start-up sounds were from the log-on sound and the Windows 10 one was from a commercial. All three operating system rely solely on Windows Vista/7 sounds and can be enabled in the BIOS. This is also the case for the prototype version of Windows 10, which is known as Windows 9. 5: The Windows Whistler start-up and shutdown sounds are fake and are just a merge of Windows 98 and 2000 sounds, they relied on Windows 2000 sounds solely just like Neptune and ME.
