Timeline. 1996- Russia invades Ukraine 1996- Poland and Japan declare war on Russia in response. 1996- Poland takes Kaliningrad. 1997- South Korea goes to war with North Korea and wins, unifying Korea. 1997- Due to a shared border Korea goes to war with Russia. 1998- Ukraine retakes land and conquers Belarus and areas on Russia, getting close to Moscow. 1998- Japan takes several provinces. 1999- Korean soldiers cross the border and take the cornered Russian oblast. 2000- Ukraine takes Moscow and the new capitol of Russia is near Central Russia.
