It was unknown where this little thing had came from, or how it got there. Now, all the animals of the pond knew better than to approach a cat out of all things, the cats had a reputation for chasing the ducks and picking fights with the beavers. But one family of ducks thought, "It's only a child. It can't hurt us," and approached the small kitten. They didn't get much out of her, they asked, "Where did you come from, little one?" "Soda." "What's your name?" "Soda." "Do you know how you got here?" "Soda." "How come your parents haven't found you yet?" "Soda." "Well..." "Soda." "Want to stay with us at the pond?" "Soda." And they took this as a yes, even though it was unclear what "soda" meant. And since the little kitten did indeed answer Soda to their question, that was her name, even though no animal knew what a 'soda' even was. So, Soda grew up like a duck would, however most of the other creatures of the pond weren't very fond of a cat living in their plash. But in just a matter of time, little Soda managed to find her way into even the meanest of animals' hearts. When she was about in her late teens, she decided it was time to go off on her own in the world. It was a hard decision to make, but Soda knew she couldn't stay in the pond forever. So she went out and made her home in a glade, making some friends along the way. And just because she left doesn't mean she never visited! About once a month she'd go back to the pond to say hello to her old friends and parents again. + + + Extra Art Descriptions: 1. Ref sheet 2. Line art 3. Now it's colored 4. Umbrella? 5.
