Drag the blue point. Click the button at the bottom left to switch modes. You can think of the modes (complex, dual, split-complex) as different kinds of two-dimensional numbers on a plane. The grid shows what happens to the whole 'plane' of numbers if you multiply them by the number at the blue dot. The thick blue curve shows where points with the same "distance" in the number system land. You can use the up/down buttons to shift the point's angle from the centre.
