Jimmy woke up. Taking in the space around him. Something was wrong. This wasn’t his room, this wasn’t his bed. His mind suddenly reached its answer. He was in Scott’s room. He didn’t remember how he got here, or why he was here. Jimmy pulled down the cover of Scott’s bed. He had already determined Scott wasn’t in it. Jimmy planned to leave silently. Go back to his house. Of course. He was in his pajamas. Jimmy got up, wondering if he had clothes somewhere. He noticed Scott’s outfits, but none for him. Sighing, Jimmy stepped out of Scott’s room. His only choice was to find Scott. He walked down the hall, finding the kitchen and Scott. Scott was making something food related. “Good morning!” Scott smiled, flipping something in a pan. He wasn’t surprised at all for Jimmy’s presence in his house. Jimmy sat down at the island bar, trying to pretend he remembered why he was there. “Good morning.” Jimmy replied, “What are you making?” “Pancakes!” Scott replied cheerfully. Scott put a floppy disk of burnt dough on a plate in front of Jimmy. Jimmy stared at it, making out two holes and a row of chocolate chips and interpreting them as a smiley face. “Uh… thanks?” Jimmy said, poking a fork at the ‘pancake’ and barely piercing its burnt surface. Scott smiled. “You don’t have to hide that I didn’t do well,” He said, “I can’t exactly cook. But I did try!” Jimmy smiled. He blinked, and when he opened his eyes Scott was gone. Jimmy felt something behind him. “Boo!” Scott shouted, embracing Jimmy in a tight hug from behind. “Scott!” Jimmy laughed. He forgot all about waking up in Scott’s bed, wondering why he was there. All that mattered now was the present. All that mattered was him and Scott.
Tah-dah! After nearly a month of planning, I present the finished project for the LBGTQ+ Writing Contest! ~Flower Husbands~ (Yes. I know. Jimmy is so tall in the picture I found- Our little toy prob found one of Joel's height potions.) Image from google! If your wondering why Jimmy was there, he went to watch a movie at Scott's house with Scott. He fell asleep halfway through the movie on the couch and Scott just moved Jimmy to his bed.
