Wisteria (wuh-stee-ree-uh) was born with his sister, Teasel (tee-zl), and brother, Venus. He was the youngest of the three, and Teasel was his twin sister, hatching about five hours before himself. He barely got out of his egg alive. All the medicine dragons told their mother, Violet, he wasn't going to make it. But he did. His eldest brother, Venus, left him and Teasel alone to live with their mother when Hive, the father the children had never met, requested him at the palace. Wisteria and Teasel knew their father worked at a very high position, but never spoke of him, until one day Teasel came running up to Wisteria with a photo of Hive and another of the King of Dragoncity and the rest of Dragonland. They found out it was the same dragon, under the name 'King Stinger'. They went home to confront Violet, but she wasn't there. A note said that she had been captured and taken to the palace. So, nearly forced by Teasel, Wisteria and her took off toward the palace. Along the way, they found clues. Everything started to connect to 'King Stinger', or Hive, their mother and Venus, and a room in the palace called 'The Forbidden'. When they snuck into the palace, they found the room and broke in. This raised an alarm and soldiers poured in. This is where we start the story. Wisteria ran, further and further away from the door where guards were flooding in. Teasel was nowhere in sight, and Wisteria couldn't fly because some of the guards had arrows and he had to duck under the various stacks of papers. The purple light of the palace made his eyes ache, causing them to blur and loose sight temporarily. He crashed into a stack and heard guards racing toward him. He saw no escape- he turned and faced the first one...(this is where he see him in the photo, the blinding purple light, the claws, and the fear in his white eyes...) He jumped toward the soldier, his thoughts a blur...he ripped the helmet off his head...he tore into the scales...a roar of pain...his tail was bitten and he didn't even feel it... Then something yellow knocked the guards out. Wisteria gasped when he froze to see who it was. Venus was glaring at him with immense anger. Teasel swooped in and knocked the rest of the guards out. somehow, they escaped and freed their mother. and the rest, as they say, is history....
