The Fazastanis quickly expel Pancese troops as Fazastani separatists in the Pancese-occupied regions use guerilla tactics to weaken the invaders. In response to this, Fazastan initiates the Bassanoian front and launches ICBMs on important infrastructure in the PSSR. With the unprecedented attack on the Fazastani homeland, the AI leader of Fazastan calls for the Scarlet Sanctuary's involvement because of the Pancese invasion of a DDO member and due to the Scarlet Sanctuary being considered a DDO member.
