Welcome to the unofficial project for ‘Sprout’, a TFCRP group for the kits and young apprentices of WindClan!! I’ll be going into a bit of depth here, though this is practically just the project to get admin permissions. Overview - Fikafrolic, a twenty-one moon old warrior of WindClan, was recently mauled by a savage fox, scarring him permanently and just adding to the wounds that had already lay on his heart rather than his flesh. In his weeks in the medicine den whilst he recovered, the little cat reflected deeply on all of the memories he had made with his family and friends, both good and bad. This led him to grieve for his deceased friends- Skiplodingpaw, Corn-snakecatastrophe, Arisevoyage, and Monarchmorphean. Through all of the dark days he’s been through, the attack on his body seemed to open up a third eye to make up for the lack of his now-missing one. This eye revealed to him a way to leap for the sky and look over those storming clouds, where a silver lining lay buried, but shining bright. He decided in that moment he was not going to dwell on his gone friends or what others thought about his appearance, rather his own love for himself and the ones around him. Here, Fikafrolic begins having thoughts. He discusses this with his partner Strongcaper as he recovers in the medicine den, forming a plan in his head and set in his heart. He comes up with the idea of a small group called Sprout, the name being a reference to how the young cats will grow into even bigger blossoms of self-love and happiness over time. Sprout is a group for the kits and young apprentices of his home clan. He knows all too well that many of his clanmates his age and older than him suffer from trauma and heartache, but the munchkin decided to focus his attention on the younger side of WindClan; The future generations of his home. He wants them to learn self love, coping mechanisms, and ways to deal with stress early on, so when they grow up (and are bound to go through rough times and suffer loss) they’ll atleast have what he taught them. — A few of the things Sprout will teach - 1: Stretches. Yes, almost cat yoga. Fikafrolic believes it is important to start the day with a set of simple exercises that get muscles stretched and ready for following activities, like hunting and patrolling, though these will mainly be to stretch the limbs for romping around and play-fighting, as most of the members are merely kittens. He learned quite a few of these from Glorydune and Entanglefjord whenever Fikafrolic had to go through a sort of physical-therapy after the attack. 2: Breathing exercises. Fikafrolic is great at managing kits and young cats. It will be hard for them to sit still for these, though he comes up with clever ways to make it inclusive and entertaining for the littler souls. These will focus on anywhere from anti-hyperventilation if one were having a panic attack to simply running out of breath when sprinting or moving too quickly or frequently. 3: Self love. One of the most important! Fikafrolic has learned to love himself, which- though it was already immense beforehand- made way for his love of his friends and family to grow even stronger. The tomcat will have frequent lessons on how to show affection to the ones you care about most, such as creating little gifts, or even just approaching a family member to give them a big hug and tell them how much you appreciate their hard work and kindness. It’s very important to have gentleness in your heart even through all the wickedness of the world, so Fikafrolic will tell the young cats to embrace their unique personalities, appearances, flaws, and differences. 4: Coping mechanisms. Fikafrolic himself has had to come up with lots of creative and different coping mechanisms to deal with his anxiety and former depressed state. Whether it be talking it out with someone you trust, snuggling a favorite toy, busying your paws with crafts or merely stopping to smell the roses every now and then, Fikafrolic will come up with unique ways for them each based on how they react to harsh situations and bad days. 5 (Bonus): Special guests! Fikafrolic will occasionally invite some of his older friends or family members to share their past experiences and how they have coped with his class, allowing the students to ask questions and learn about more adults outside of their parents and Fikafrolic himself. Schedule - The group will meet three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) at first around 4am, as WindClan’s sleep schedule is during the night. This is around the time when patrols start returning to camp, cats have some prey and share tongues, and clanmates begin to settle in to sleep in the daytime; A calming aura and time to have class. Depending on the ‘lesson’ that day, the meeting can take from a half-hour up to nearly two. Most of the meetings will take place in Fikafrolic’s hidden crystal cove at the back of the cavern near the nursery, where he has decorated with little flowers and run-down the edges of the particularly sharp jutting crystals around there. — A bit on the ‘ranking’ system - Buds: When a kit or young apprentice first joins the group (simply by approaching Fikafrolic and asking about it), they will be known as a Bud. This is when they first start learning. Sprouts: The first actual stage of the group, these are the cats that Fikafrolic has felt have learned the basics of all of his teachings. This is the longest stage, and can take as much time as the particular cat needs to master everything. Blossoms: ‘Blossom’ is the general term, though each individual cat will have a unique flower or plant title based on their personality and copings. This is the stage that the young felines have ‘graduated’ from Sprout (the group) and are considered very well-knowledgeable in Fikafrolic’s teachings. They usually stay for a few more classes or so, or however long they need, but at this point they’re fully suited and ready to meet the world head-on. — Note for the admins - Thank yall for reading this far!!
