The HAWP is a floating weapons platform, built and manufactured to stay up in the atmosphere for weeks, becoming a sort of observation platform. It flies extremely high, even above the Watchers, so it has 4 medium sized tungsten rods, meant to be kinetic weapons that gather speed as it falls and to penetrate the heavy armour of a Watcher with such force that it can go through, or at least temporarily immobilize Watchers. They also have a bomb bay to drop bombs on enemy units. Advances in technology allow for airtight environments, with a cockpit and rear quarters which stay connected through 2 computer terminals and radio between the 2 areas. Further developments are being made to see if we can permanently suspend it midair with jets and other technologies.
