He detected the scent of another wolf nearby, and he could hear the sound of footsteps. He turned and growled leaping in the female. She was similar to him, and that scent.. that scent was… his family’s scent. "HEY!" Xrystal shouted, as he pounced on her, but then she picked up his scent. "We kin?" “I don’t know” he looked at her eyes directly. “Who the h3ck are ya anyway?” His southern accent gave it away. "Wail, mah man, we shuh sound like we kin." She looked him in the eyes coolly, unafraid of him because he was smaller than her. He snorted in her face and got off her. “Well, okay, we’re kin, but that don’t mean nothin’. What are ya doin’ here? My pack is gonna go wild when they find ya” His accent was not as strong as Xrystal’s , but it was noticeable."If we kin, what're ya doin' in a pack?" “You’re a loner? Why are you not in a pack?” He looked at her, clearly confused, but more empathetic. "Ah haven't seen no packs in a while. But Ah've come a long way without one, I came from WAYYYY nartheast from heeyuh. What's yer name?" “My name is Aziel, what’s yours?” He seemed more interested in here story. "Ah'm Xrystal. Who're yer parents?" She looked down at him, curious. He tried to remember. “Ummm…. Rowan and Lorelei. And I have a sister named Alora. I don’t know if they had siblings, because they died when I was very small.” "Good grief. Wail, my pa was Lorelei's bro," she said. "E'er heard o' Maverick?" “Maverick… Yes that sounds familiar. My parents where once speaking about a Wolf and I think his name was Maverick.” "Cool beans, cuz. So how did y'all git all da way out heeyuh?” “Well, I was roaming for a bit with Alora, then she disappeared. And I found this pack.” He had a smug smile on his lips. "So ya joined a random pack, yuh mean?" Xrystal raised an eyebrow. “Yeah, I didn’t have much of a choice. I was a good huntah but got into a lot of fights.” Xrystal hooted. "'Cause yer a scrap, or were ya where ya shouldn't have been, or wat?" “Cause imma scrap I guess, if someone don’t agree with me, it on” he noticed the scar on her belly. “What happened to ya?” Xrystal laughed at the first sentence, fully agreeing with the latter part herself. "Wail, over in dat valley yonder," she said, motioning, "I was workin' out mah great ideer in ACTION, when a dirtbag named Primrose 'tacked me fur bein' on her territory. I beat her fair 'n square, but she nigh drowned me. All dese cuts are from her, and all dese welts are from dem bees." “Well I can have that! Where she at?” He growled to himself. “No Wolf hurts my kin! Wanna go together and teach her a lesson. Imma good fitah” "Yuh bet dollars tuh doughnuts! That lil' piece of crud deserves it. She been gone for one whole year now.” His Tail twitched in discomfort. "Good grief! D'ya know where ya lost her?" Xrystal asked, not aware she was asking one of the dumbest common questions…
