The ex-queen of Flipside. After suffering from emotional conflict during the Opal War long ago, the soul of this ancient deity split off into two halves; titled "The Angel of Few Words" and "The Mild-Headed Demon". Zina had been weakened and lost her deity status due to this. She was declared unworthy and was sent into Opal City in an even more human-like form, now as a soulless husk of her former self. Those two halves of her soul had been reincarnated into many different people for decades, each had/having their own supernatural abilities. Zina spends all day (and sometimes night) roaming Opal City to find the current holders of the soul halves. When found, she will use one of the two tentacles on her back (which used to be wings, oddly enough) to petrify the holder and retrieve the soul half to absorb, regaining her lost powers. After hearing about this Opallian legend, nobody wants to interact with Zina in fear of being turned to stone. Nobody knows if they have a soul half or not. But Zina does, from sensing strong "mystic energy" that the holder is radiating. Only she can feel this. I'm not going to reveal her complete forme because I wonder what your creative speculation would look like. I just think she's worth noting.
