Whoo, I'm so excited for this. So I am using my Wolf-dragon hybrid that I won in a DTA from @Boothehoodiecat but a very modified version of him. If you want the original backstory for him, please let me know and I could link it. Anyways, here is Asters World Virus story. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before it all happened, Aster lived in the forest, protecting it from harm and keeping those who traveled through it safe. He lived there with his best friend Creed after they escaped from The Lab; the laboratory where they had been tested on and where Creed was made. Aster would occasionally visit the city to see his other friend, Wisp, who had been with them in The Lab. Life seemed to be heading in the right direction, he felt at peace. That was until he started seeing the changes. They were subtle and were present for a bit before it was truly noticable. Aster had the power to speak to the plants and control them in a way, as it was given to him when he was changed from the experiments in the lab, so when he began hearing a new voice among the plants, it was a surprise. This voice wasn't normal, that was clear from the start as it had a different way of thinking and communicating. Aster decided to investigate one day, when he stumbled upon a large cluster of orange Asters. He found it mildly ironic but he was still shook as this was clearly where the voice was coming from. He carefully used a paw to pick one of them up, using his power to keep it safe. That's when the roots of it dug into his fur. He let out howls of pain but they were quickly silenced by the plant as it used some roots as stitches to keep his mouth shut. The flower settled itself onto his back as its roots continued to grow into his body. Aster staggered his way back to Creed, giving him one final signal: run. He flapped his wings twice and beat his tail as that had been what they agreed on for a signal but that was the last thing his free mind would do. Creed knew what it meant but tried not to. His obey program did not let him do that of course and he fled, his current location unknown. In a matter of hours, Aster was no longer himself. His fur was much paler than it had been before, his tail significantly longer, flower and flower petal patterns replacing his dots, the feather on his wings flower petal shaped, his horns, teeth, and claws sharper and darker, and his eyes pale and white. Aster was gone, he was now infected. Thus began the apocalypse. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Whew, ngl that was long. Now onto his personality. Aster, prior to being infected, had a light personality. He always tried to be his best and kind and even when people are being hard with him. Aster does not speak, rather he uses telepathy to communicate. So, I give you Aster. Please click the screen to see his original design, the drawing I made for him, and his infected design.
