Similar to the other recent games having some new form change for old pokemon,regional variants,regional evolutions,convergent forms,etc,pokemon sea and star will have a new mechanic known as cross species evolution.This will occur when you have to pokemon in your party that have the capability of cross species evolution and when one of them meets the level requirement to evolve it will evolve in to a new combination of the two pokemon.Feel free to put ideas for cross species evolutions for old and new pokemon in the comments.
