This is gonna go WAY past the deadline and it's mostly my fault. I don't have my tablet yet, but I will get it within the next two-three months, so if I don't get it soon enough, my part will open up. And animators, take it easy! I'm gonna take longer than any of you to get my part done, so chill out and take your time.
Now before you go about asking for a part, just sit down for a minute and stare at the ceiling. Get those creativity juices flowing. Ready? Okay then! Let's get creative! Now I'm the type who just LOVES to delve into things headfirst and sink my grubby little fingers in right away; but hold your horses there kiddo! Sit back and relax while I explain the rules. 1. DO NOT WATERMARK YOUR PART! You may watermark it while posting your part (that I understand), but if it's a sprite it will be removed and if it's stuck to the animation itself then you'll have to figure out a way to send me a version without the watermark. I'll be adding the usernames at the end. 2. USE THE PALETTE! That's right, guys! This Multi Animator Project has a set of six colors (obviously not including black) you're restricted to using. But don't worry, it's not that bad! Please don't use shades of the colors other than the six you're given. The palette changes throughout the map, so keep that in mind. 3. KEEP IT SIMPLE! Please try not to use an excessive amount of scripts and sprites. Doing so reduces lag and makes it easier for me to put the MAP together. The maximum amount of sprites is 3 and the maximum amount of scripts is 5. 4. E FOR EFFORT! I'm going to be selective about who I choose to make the parts (hence there are only 16), so try your best to impress me! On Saturday (two days from now) I'll be choosing the parts, so be sure to give links to some of your best animations! Be warned, though. If your animation in the MAP and the ones you've given don't quite match up, I may either ask you to put more effort into your part (if it's the same style but your part was evidently done poorly or lazily) or exclude you from the MAP entirely (if you can't come up with a good reason why the animations are vastly different). Remember: Do your best! 5. HAVE IT BY THE DEADLINE! I cannot stress this enough. I will be pretty flexible, though. All parts are due October 26th (the deadline having changed due to a lack of animators). If you'd like to discuss the deadline or can't complete your entry on time due to personal or technical issues, I understand. Just talk to me and we'll work out a suitable time. If you'd like to drop out, that's fine too, but if you do then I'd appreciate help to find backup for your part. HOWEVER! Pure procrastination will NOT be tolerated! If your entry isn't in by the deadline and you can't be contacted by October 26th, I'll be casting for backup animators to take your place. 6. FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES! Please don't include NSFW material, intense gore, sexual themes, etc. in your part. I know it's fun, but the ST is pretty restrictive about it. Please keep it PG-13. If your part does contain something too strong for the community guidelines and you refuse to do your part, I will find backup instead. 7. GET CREATIVE! I think this is pretty self-explanatory. Now that you're ready to smear your greasy little hands all over the screen and create YOUR masterpiece, this is what your comment should include! - The part you want (1 per person) - Link(s) to your best animation(s) - The secret password: "Green is not a creative color." (The secret password lets me know you've read the rules!)
