It’s almost the one year anniversary of WAD I still can’t get over it wahhhh I’m sorry for not being active on this project for a long time. One reason was that it got tiring to condense projects (again, please use only two sprites for your animation :>), two, I gradually got out of the owl house slowly (I want to get back in though!! I have many happy memories associated with it) and three, I had a ton of stuff going on irl from moving to a whole other freaking country and a buttload of schoolwork and all sorts of crazy stuff. And fourth, procrastination. That’s still not an excuse for holding up a project that so many of you put your time and passion into working on and was planned to revive the owl house fandom on scratch, and making empty promises about when i'd finally open it. Again, i'm really sorry. But things have slightly stabilized and i think i can take this on again. It's been almost a year since this started, so it's time we were on a fast-track to finish it- so a couple rules have changed! FIRST, you can take as many parts as you want now, no limits. Took one or two parts before and you want to try your hand at it again? Go for it! Never got to get a part last time? Go for it! There are only 4 parts now (or maybe more...), so take your shot! SECOND, all the parts which haven't been marked as either WIP or done have been removed. i hate to do this but following up repeatedly takes a lot of time and i get that a lot of people have most likely forgotten about it or were too busy- that's totally fine! can't really blame you for that lol. I've still kept the ones that are WIP, but i will be following up on those soon. :> THIRD, i'll be asking the backups if they'd like to do parts soon! FOURTH, the updated deadline is april 8. I've followed this show for almost two years now, only a small fraction of the time it's been airing. Even in this short time, I’ve learned from, rejoiced and cried at (just kidding i've never cried at it FEAR ME), and loved this show till the very end. And the end i̶s̶ f̶a̶s̶t̶ a̶p̶p̶r̶o̶a̶c̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ already happened. a year ago. i can't believe it either ahhh If you’re like me, you probably have countless memories of the fandom and the show itself, the characters, the humor, and everything that made the show what it is. This is our way of thanking Dana, the crew and the fandom for a wonderful 3-year journey. Please read all the rules: • you can take as many parts as you want. • both amv and pmv parts are allowed! • all skill levels can participate • the deadline is April 8th. totally not choosing this because of WAD. More than that will make the project take too much space and trust me, it’s a nightmare trying to condense parts that have too many sprites. Part of the reason why I started procrastinating on it • no frames/foregrounds from the actual show. Backgrounds I can still allow if they’re complicated, like the titan here, but it’s preferred not to. • no art theft or tracing • parts are first come first serve, so choose quickly. I’ll read out and reserve the lyrics for any part if you can’t listen to them at that time, just ask • there is a guideline to how the parts will be done: - parts 1, 2, 18 and 19 will be about the show in general - parts 3-6 will mainly be about about season 1 - parts 7-13 will mainly be about season 2A - parts 14-17 will be about season 2B - parts 20 and 21 are about the queer rep and ships in the show, mostly lumity since that’s what the lyrics were based off of but others like huntlow and raeda are also allowed - parts 22-26 will be about season 3 - it’s recommended that this is followed so it flows like the actual show does, from beginning to middle to end, but you can bend it a little bit.
