Built by GE in 1950 for Duke Energy and retired in 1982. The engine was sold to the Bostic Southern railroad where it never operated. The engine sat on display and some parts were stripped. in 1996 the York and Red Lion railroad in Pennsylvania purchased the engine at scrap value. The engine was renumbered 10 and restored to operation. 10 was used for switching in York for about 3 months until it was determined to be under powered for the task. 10 was transferred to shop switcher, this however meant it wasn't operated much and usually Y&RL 9 was able to do all of 10's switching duty's in the morning before heading off to do it's own work. 10 was put on display for some time in york.
