## THE ISSUE ## Advertising has been taking a toll, and ironically mostly posted on generic platformers. It is people trying to share their voices, but most of how they advertise is incorrect and a lie. Worst thing is, this method works to a degree. But mostly games with this have things they took from other scratchers, such as art, an engine, or music, and with or without credit. Still, there are some scratchers out there who need to be heard from under the 10-year-old coders who post "Minecraft lol a platformer" or something. ## WHAT CAN 'THEY' DO TO STOP RE-SHARE BOT## Many scratchers re-share their projects to get more loves and favs. But why? Shouldn't the joy be in making a masterpiece that gets heard once? I can't relate - lol with my 55 followers. Well, DON'T reshare projects. It makes you look bad. Also, you don't need that many tags. If you made a good enough project with a good enough amount of followers, it should probably reach trending (again, can't relate). ## WHAT CAN 'THEY' DO TO STOP ADVERTISING ## The popular people can turn off comments - why do they have them on, anyways? More messages? This just influences more advertising, and the more they get away with it the more advertising there is. SO TO THE IMPORTANT PEOPLE: turn off comments ## WHAT CAN YOU DO? ## Supposing you are 99.95% of the scratch population (which isn't that hard), you are currently wondering what you can do as not an 1000+ followers person. 1. Don't support generic platformers - why do you love and fav it? Good art? Well, they should have used the art in a more creative way. 2. Love and star projects that NEED & DESERVE it - any projects that are made by underrated scratchers? Like, fav, comment on them! 3. Don't click on advertisements! - the advertisers will see the view count and see that their plans are working! Bad! No! 4. Report advertisements! - Hover over the comment of the advertisement and click the report button on the top-right. 5.
