Also congrats on 1.7k! ꧁Story꧂ Cord, a female guard, was heading towards the Queen's throne room since her general told her there was an attack. Halfway through the hallway, she saw a pair of blazing eyes a few feet ahead of her. Suddenly, a blistering voice started speaking. It wasn't because whoever was speaking was old, it meant there was smoke coming out of their nostrils which is a sign of firebreath coming. The mysterious voice whispered, loud enough for Cord to hear, "This is the only way to get what I deserve." Whatever this dragon was trying to do, it was not for vengeance or avenge, a reason that she could not understand. With Cord's amazing and gifted hearing, she thought she might have heard the sound of talons scraping stone because the bricks broke off the wall and flung towards the way Cord was running. "Who's there?" she shrieked. She felt fear rushing through her. She thought her eyes deceived her when she saw the eyes again and some sort of sparkling around them, like the sparkling of scales. 'Scales!' Cord thought. There had to be a dragon here. She fought back against the dragon but they quickly flew across the hall before all of the bricks fell. A few minutes later that felt like hundreds of hours, she saw the dragon outside from the whole in the bricks. She knew him. "Boulder!" she shouted, "Why did you do this?" No response. Seconds later, Boulder blew fire through the whole spreading anywhere it could. Cord let out a powerful roar as the fire ceased her scales. She started to believe the Queen was never in danger. Now she was caught in his little trap. Even the glistening armor of Cord's had no chance against Boulder's string fire. "No," she let out with a tear falling down her scales. It was over. Nothing could save her now. The only thought buzzing through Cord's mind now is 'Will I survive?'. Now it was the end.
