There ya go! Ask and you shall receive (sometimes, still not drawing y'all a pfp >:( please stop asking) I held a vote for a tutorial and body anatomy came out on top. i might also make one on the second place topic. ANYWAYS YIPPEEE sorry if this is quick and doesn't give enough info BUT i have a list of tips here: 1 - Before we start, try not to directly copy anything lol. Give your own spin and it'll bring out your personality with it. Feel free to experiment! 2 - Be aware of the joints. If you want to have fun with joints i recommend searching a rag doll engine to see how the body moves. Also be aware of the way it works so you don't accidentally make it look like the character broke all of its limbs :) 3 - Use references/your own body for the poses. This makes the poses more realistic if you see how your own body works. This could be the way the foot moves, or how far back your arm can go (please don't break your arm). You can also draw a sketch around these references to get an idea on how to draw them. 4 - Experience with poses. Don't do the same pose for every drawing and maybe go out of your comfort zone and draw the character in a cool pose, or playing a sport! This gives a lot more personality to the character 5 - The face and the hands can be two of the most expressive body parts but you can also make the character express body language. Maybe they are shy but trying to be confident. Make the face show shyness but make the body show confidence. Have fun with it! 6 - Try not to use the same body shape for every character you make. I suffer from this lol but go crazy with your character. Make em any shape, size, and height you want. This can be really fun, especially with a cartoon style. Here's a video I recommend for this: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Kp6-tdFbkkc 7 - Male and female bodies are not the same. In this one i mainly showed female. Male bodies are a bit more boxier in the torso. But go crazy mate ;) And that's that. Please ask questions if you are confused and I hope you enjoyed and learned something from this! Keep learning :)) credits: art - me song - metamodernity - vansire knowledge - everything ive gathered throughout the years boosh #art #tutorial
