Backstory (WIP): Ghostbat lives in a small cottage alone in the woods. He only really comes out when collecting more supplies or selling his woodwork. When he does come out, he speaks quietly and quickly gets to the point when asked a question. Most Felnines think he's cursed or eats children, so most avoid him. The scars all over his body and his missing leg don't make it any better. He is part of the military and fought in a brutal war. His apprentice didn't make it and he became depressed after the young Felnines fall. Feeling defeated and upset, he fled from the military and became a woodworker. He left his armor and Valnorin (he named his sword that) in a wardrobe in his attic for safe keeping, he hopes that he'll never have to use magic again and would rather live a normal life making wood sculptures and watching the sunset with a cup of tea. His familiar, Void, lives a laid back life with Ghostbat, helping him cope with the burden of life. Ghostbat can see what Void can through his blind green eye.
