Instructions

Activate turbo mode (shift + click the green flag) to speed everything up! What is this? This is a simulator of the first organisms on Earth. Each colourful dot is a cell, and it's colour shows what group of cells it evolved from (eg. if there are lots of green cells in a clump, you know they've probably got the same common ancestor). This works due to natural selection, cells that keep on going up will most likely perish (due to the lacking ozone layer), and, in turn, will not be able to split and pass on their DNA. Cells will only split if the total population is below 50, they also slowly float upwards, so they have to be actively moving down to survive. Age is how many frames a cell has survived for, and I trust you can work out what population is. #cells #cell #machine-learning #learning #water #behaviour #behavior #evolution #evolve #simulator #simulate #life #first #earth #excessive-amounts-of-tags #excessive-amounts-of-tags #excessive-amounts-of-tags #excessive-amounts-of-tags #excessive-amounts-of-tags #excessive-amounts-of-tags #excessive-amounts-of-tags #excessive-amounts-of-tags #excessive-amounts-of-tags #excessive-amounts-of-tags #excessive-amounts-of-tags #excessive-amounts-of-tags #excessive-amounts-of-tags
