calamity magic is mainly a countermagic it won't be a one-shot as you see in the animation but it will cause the same amount of damage that the user has taken for example if the user is on the brink of death calamity magic will be at its best and will bring the opponent down to the same hp but it does have a long cooldown. there are other properties to it but that's the main thing
