Bio: Moses He/him He lives in a desert village where he performs tricks like flips or dives to restaurant customers for food Story: It was another hot night. The sun had set already, but the heat still remained. The only release from the unbearable temperature was the cool breeze of the restaurant fans. Of course, Moses wasn’t really allowed to be there if he wasn’t ordering. But not everyone can afford to eat. And besides, you only get in trouble if you get caught, he thought. Moses had already had a good night. He had earned his meal tonight, so he headed home. Competition was fierce, and sometimes other acrobats got into fights. Moses padded down the sandy path and into the growing shadows. There was a sound. Moses turned, ears up, eyes alert. “Who’s there?” He said. Well. He tried to say, but it was muffled through the bag of food in his mouth. “You’re pretty good,” a voice said from the shadows. “Fast and talented.” Moses said nothing. “You know,” the voice said, “we need some fast kids like you for our next mission.” Moses flicked his ears back. “Think about it,” the voice said. Footsteps padded away. Moses thought for a while, until the heat broke away from the cool night air. Finally, he put down his food bag. He walked into the shadows, slowly, tentatively. But he was ready.
