(READ THE PROJECT FIRST!) --CL related-- Q: "how is blight going to be changed in terms of personality? will his design change as well?" (@-Ditto--) A: I'm not sure how his personality will be changing yet, but it has to be different from whatever it used to be, since when Blight was first created he was accidentally a Lucas(EGH) copy :P I'm considering turning Blight into an Audino, or an Indeedee/Audino fusion, but that would mean Kamau would have to change too. I can't easily change a character's personality unless I either rename or redesign them, so if I want to keep him and his brother as Indeedees, I'll probably rename Blight. Q: "Will the monster au characters have a cameo in the main story in any way?" (@chrisluk002) A: No, they won't. Any AU characters stay in their AUs- that's an interesting thought though! Q: "what inspired you to want to make comics, especially pokémon?" (@Cyber_Raven65) A: It was @NaniKitty, and everyone else making comics at Team Pokecomix! I read EGH and followed it closely for a while, and I really wanted to create a Pokemon comic of my own! I hadn't ever been obsessed with Pokemon before that point though I'd liked it for a while. I made a comic called "Fire & Steel" but it was replaced with CL. The two comics, and creators that specifically inspired me to create Corrupted Legends were EGH by @NaniKitty, and KO by @_-FenFren-_. (They're both absolutely AMAZING and have beautiful art, stories, and characters! So go follow them!) Q: "how did you come up with CL's title?" (@Cyber_Raven65) A: "Corrupted" came from a curse in CL called "corruption" and "Legends" came from the fact that this curse was caused by the Legendary Pokemon of CL's region.(I'll probably rename the region :P) I don't really know whether to keep Corruption or not. Even though I came up with it before the "Pokemon-with-black-eyes" thing in EGH was revealed(partly) in how it worked, both concepts ended up being fairly similar, and I don't want people to think I just copied EGH/HoM when I didn't. :/ (HoM is the reboot of EGH) Q: "how do you decide whether or not to delete characters?" (@Cyber_Raven65) A: It's based on how important they are, how attached to them I am, and whether or not someone else could play their role better. Take Cherri and Willow for example; Cherri, Willow, Tempest, and Crystal are somewhat similar, but Crystal has an important role as the main antagonist, and Tempest has a more complex backstory than Willow or Cherri ever had. Willow never had a personality, and Cherri was pretty much my interpretation of Hazel from EGH. I got rid of Willow and Cherri since Crystal and Tempest have more connections with other characters, and are overall more interesting. Q: "is the technology of their world like ours or did it develop differently?" (@InkEevee) A: A lot of technology is like our world, except certain tech, like AI and robotics, is far more advanced. An example is Mecha, who is an extremely complex robot that I'll explain the functions of in a different project. Q: "About how long does it take you to make 1 page of CL Reboot?" (@bebejayy) A: Well, I haven't made any pages of the reboot yet, but it usually took me about 2-4 hours per page of the original I think? (Not counting all the time it takes to write the chapter's script) Q: "What inspired you to make Dart?" (@bebejayy) A: Spike! He's a Darkrai/Zeraora fusion who belongs to @_-FenFren-_, and for a while, I was semi-obsessed with him. I liked him so much I wanted a similar character of my own, so I created Dart! Dart has always had a very different behavior and personality from Spike though. ^^ Fun fact: Dart's design wasn't entirely made by me. I asked a bunch of artists to have an art trade with me, and to draw what they thought a Marshadow/Zeraora fusion might look like. Afterwards I used different elements of each design to create Dart's final design! Q: "What is the world structure? Exactly like ours? Like Pokémon's? Did you rip locations from Pokémon or is it all original? Any inspirations for the world?" (@prxckedradiolove) A: I'd say it relates more to Pokemon, and the story of CL takes place in a separate region from the canon ones. Although Kanto, Unova, ect. still exist in CL, they're not important. Any locations inside of CL's region, along with its shape and name are original! Q: "Is ur entire CL series have mainly fusion pokemon? If not, are there gonna be any Pokémon that aren’t fused?" (@PicotonYT_2) A: There are hardly any fusions in CL, actually. ^^ Dart is a Marshadow/Zeraora/Chandelure fusion, Fluffy is a Zeraora/Buneary fusion, and I've played with the idea of Blackout being an Umbreon/Mincinno (I doubt he will be), but no one else is a fusion! I might make more of them fusions to even it out. (They'd only get minor design changes and some different moves)
--Skech related-- Q: "Do you like your artstyle?" (@PurplePhe) A: Yup! There are a few things I'd like to change a bit though- mostly the way I sketch so I keep character proportions a little more consistent, and the shape I use to draw eyes. Q: "who is your favorite oc that you created?" (@Cyber_Raven65) A: I have several: Dart, Thunder, Mecha, Warrior, and Solstice. Dart because he's so silly and energetic, and his love of lemons is based on mine! He's also very fun and easy to write for. Thunder because he's an amazing dad, and just a really nice guy in general. I really like Mecha since it's a robot(I love robots), I spent a long time figuring out how it would work, and I see it as a very unique character!(I haven't seen many robot Pokemon in comics) Warrior is great for his politeness and cheerfulness. And lastly, I like Solstice because writing for grumpy characters is fun. :> Q: "how would you describe your art style? do you consider yourself to be "improving" your current art style or are you pleased?" (@Cyber_Raven65) A: I'd say it's an anime-inspired style. ^^ I'm definitely improving, and I think I always will be. I told myself I wouldn't change my art style this many times, and yet here we are xD Q: "how do you decide whether or not to change something about your creations?" (@Cyber_Raven65) A: Like a story or art? I don't know how to describe it, but sometimes when I'm writing or drawing something will just feel.. "off" and I'll have to change it so I don't look at that art/story and think about what's wrong with it every time. Q: "favorite song? why?" (@Cyber_Raven65) A: I like a lot of songs, and my favorites change frequently, but the ones I like right now are: Sharks(Imagine Dragons), World's smallest violin(AJR), Downfall(Neoni), Uh oh(Neoni), Monster(Imagine Dragons), I can't decide(Scissor sisters), and Just pretend(Bad Omens). My favorite bands/singers are Imagine Dragons, Neoni, The Living Tombstone, Fall out boy, and ONLAP! ^^ Q: "would you ever have (semi-)realism art in your comics?" (@Cyber_Raven65) A: I doubt I'd use much realism, though I might use some elements of it! I prefer drawing in a cartooney way since it's easier, prettier,(at least in my style) and I can go crazy with colors! Some pieces of realism I do use is when I shade, I try to make sure it makes sense depending on the shape of the shaded thing and the placement of the lighting, though it's still not very realistic. Q: "How long have you been drawing for?" (@Mistii_Needles) A: Traditionally? Ever since I could hold a crayon. Digitally? Only about 2 years. Honestly, my art wasn't very good until I started doing digital art. I find digital art much easier to express my characters than traditional, so I don't like making traditional art. Q: "what came first the chicken or the egg" (@QTBaku) A: The question isn't which came first; it's which one comes with peanut butter /ref Q: "Whats your favorite video game currently? :D Favorite show?" (@Celery_Cat) A: My favorite video game is Minecraft! I'm pretty good at surviving through difficult spots in the game, and I love building huge, fancy houses. I also really like Stickfight and ARK. ^^ I'd say my favorite shows are Parks and Recreation, Pysch, and One Punch Man. :D Q: "You are immortal and can't die, but there is also an immortal indestructible Snail going after you and you will immediately get killed if he gets in contact with you, he will hunt you down for eternity, what do you do?" (@Lagonish) A: Have someone else put the snail in a metal box and bury it deep under the ocean- Q: "Have you ever done a prank on someone who then turned it onto you?" (@_SlothAnimations_) A: Yes and also a sub is a sandwich since a sandwich is(usually) any solid food item(usually bread) with any other food item put in between it. Peanut butter and jelly is some bread with stuff in between, same with a burger, a sub, and a hot dog. Q: "Which character of yours has the most time-consuming design to draw?" (@-Mercury1-) A: I have many characters I've gotten from others that have very complex designs, but the most complex one I've actually drawn might be Rex since his head is shaped differently.
