Bio(A bit lengthy of a story): Wren is a 12-year-old male leaf/rain hybrid. He doesn't know his father who was a rainwing from the Distant Kingdoms. His mother was known as a PoisonWing, her name fierce like the other plants in the Poison Jungle. He would ask about the hivewings often but his mother seemed to have a look of terror throughout her eyes, which slowly turned into an aggressive snarl and hissing. Wren would hide under the tree's shadows, his scales dull like decaying leaves. He climbed a tree one day and took a nap on the highest branch where the sun could reflect off his scales. He was so energized he had to tell his excitement to his mother, who took one look at him and sighed. He didn't know what was wrong with him until he saw it for himself, his scales, were a light purple, shocked he jumped and his scales shifted white. He ran out the door as his mother yelled at him to stop, he ignored her, upset she kept such an important secret from him. But who was his father and where is he? All these questions distracted him and he didn't realize his scales shifted red, as he crashed into a tree breaking both of his horns and leaving them jagged. His scales shifted grey and white, he was in pain but too sad to care anymore. He could hear his name being called in the distance, he just wanted to disappear and that's exactly what happened. He blended in with everything around him, he was the exact color of the sundew plant or the various flowers behind him. He used this ability to escape the jungle, he was heading to the hives maybe they will accept him even though he was strange. He headed to Jewel's hive and stayed hidden until he made it to the living quarters where he'll find Lady Jewel. He knocked politely on her door and she opened it, "Hello?" she asked. "Excuse me, may I come inside? I promise I'm no threat." Jewel huffed for a second, "Hurry in, I'll close the door. You need to show your face though, I have no idea how you got past all the guards but it's impressive." She thought he was impressive like he wasn't strange or different. "My lady" he'd bow to her revealing himself. She looked shocked at first, "poor baby, what happened to you?" She'd inspect his broken horns and the back leg that he was still limping on. His colors shifted again showing a dark purple, full of guilt on his face. "Wait, I think your mother went to the distant kingdoms, didn't she?" He looked at Jewel, "The what?" Lady Jewel sat down with a pendant, "This was something that your mother returned with, she was given it by a rainwing named Starfruit. It was like a way to represent their love even if they lived on two different continents. But when she returned something changed about her, she was cold and full of hate. She came to my hive and requested one of my guards to take the pendant to me and keep it. I never asked her why but she said never to tell anyone about it. But I believe it belongs to you now." She'd take the pendant and put it around his neck, he couldn't believe it was a gift from his father. "Thank you, my lady" Jewel had one more favor for him, "Would you like to be in charge of the library?" He loved books and would care about them, "I would love to" he jumped in joy and his scales shifting a mix of yellow and pink. "Lovely, you'll start tomorrow at sunrise, don't worry the key is always near you'll find it." -End of current bio-
