( this is simply an amazing project! and a great example of spirographs with the pen and math!) Have you ever seen somebody play with a spirograph and wanted to try it out, but you couldn't? This is a real spirograph. It draws as if it were real, but now you can set the variables to change how it draws. It uses trig to locate where the draw sprite should go. Plus, it's 1-sprite 1-script! For best effect, download and play in turbo speed mode. Press Space to clear. Here's how to use the variables: Turn Speed: Well, speed. Spirograph Numbers: These numbers are what effect the general shape that the spirograph uses. Yes, it's all one line, but as these numbers go higher, it refines it closer to a circle. Even still, the design is drawn from a single line. If these two numbers add up to a whole number, the number of repetitions the spirograph will have before looping back on its self is the number +1. Interesting! Ideas: Play around with different numbers. Download and play it in turbo speed mode- Shift-click "extras" then press "set single stepping" then select "turbo speed". Try drawing several on top of each other- Draw a spiral. Press stop. Change variables. Press green flag. Thanks for watching and please leave a comment or press love it!
