After the incident, guilt lingers with Toothpick ceaselessly. His best friend, Apple, has been dead for weeks. Murdered brutally in a train accident, the vivid memories replay in Toothpick's head every night. Unable to accept his death, Toothpick's mind dances around Apple's death as he repeatedly appears in front of him, alive and well. At his funeral, Toothpick is reunited with the once-prosperous friend group. The ambivalent Bucket of Axolotl, the secretive Flashlight, the shy Thimble, the paranoid Emergency Button, and more are all here, mourning Apple's death. Nobody speaks of Toothpick's involvement in the murder as he looks blankly into Apple's casket. How could we have a funeral if he is not dead? He is not over. Apple is not dead. Right? Because right beside him, Apple appears. He looks around at the solemn faces. "What's everyone so depressed for?" he asks. "Cheer up, guys!" "Apple? Oh my god, I knew it! You're here! You're alive I knew it, I knew it, I always knew it!" The sun of joy wipes Toothpick's guilt into dust. He embraces Apple with unimaginable strength, felling the trees, and the mountains, and overturning the Earth's oceans. Toothpick looks around at everyone. "Guys, he's here! C'mon, stop the funeral! Let's celebrate!" Marker Box's face is filled with confusion, along with everyone else. Toothpick knows that Apple's return must be so sudden for everyone. Apple stands up tall and proud. "So, since everyone is here, and I know you all look bored out of your minds... so I propose that we create an object show! We can have so much fun!" Nobody responds, so Toothpick relays it to the rest. Everyone is shocked. "What? An object show?" Emergency Button asks. "Toothpick, shut up," Kakera remarks. "No, I'm serious guys! It'd bring us back together!" Everyone sighs, but nobody rejects. Nobody wants to break Toothpick's facade. And so begins Round One.
