She asks them about gender and sexuality, and starts to question. - Lily : They/them? : Questioning & straight : 12 : Lily cuts their hair short and keeps wondering about stuff. They are thinking most about their gender. Their moms are supportive. - Liam : They/him : Transmale & gay : 13 : Lily changes their name to Liam and comes out as transmale. He feels like he's getting closer to the right gender, but it still doesn't feel right. Liam still likes boys. - Liam : They/he/her : Bigender & gay : 14 : Liam settles on Bigender. Liam starts wondering if they're non-binary, but she insists that she still has connection to the binary. - Li : They/them : Questioning : 15 : Liam changes their name and pronouns to Li and they/them. They start thinking they might be out of the binary. They also get a crush on a girl named Abigail. - Li/Liam : They/him : Genderfluid and questioning : 16 : Liam decides on Genderfluid as a label, and this feels closer to being right. He is still crushing on Abigail, but when they hear more about (the stuff), he gets worried. - Li/Liam : He/them : Questioning and asexual : 17 : Li finds out that they're asexual, but again, is not sure what their gender is. They start researching. - Liam : He/ze/them : Genderfaun and asexual : 18 : Liam finds the label genderfaun! It is very close, but still not perfect. He starts questioning his romantic orientation. Ze also learn about some neopronouns. Abigail comes out as lesbian, and Liam is disappointed, but they have developed a crush on a boy called Thomas. - Liam : They/ze/him : Genderflor and asexual : 19 : Liam settles on the term Genderflor and finds out that he's multiromantic. Ze also find out that Thomas is pan! They start hanging out together more. - Liam : They/ze/him : Genderflorer, asexual, and biromantic : 20 : Liam finds one more label for his gender and uses it. It fits zem well. They also discover that they're biromantic! They come out to their crush and explains his feelings toward him. They start going out.
