⋆ Press M to start and stop music ✰✰✰ ⋆ Short backstory time peeps XD ⋆ Xanadu was a content, lively cat living in her home with their friends, and gf Indicolite. ⋆ One night, Xanadu wakes up in the Dark Forest, a cat approaching her. "Welcome, little one." Xanadu being young at the time, doesn't hesitate to say hello to him. "I have a task for you," he tells them, "In return, I can guarantee your happiness." She willingly agrees. "On one, condition." She adds. "What's your name?" "Amaranth." ⋆ Much later, Xanadu goes out on an adventure to try to find something for Amaranth. They surprisingly find it pretty quickly. "Hey, I found your lantern!" She calls out, and Amaranth appears. "Yes, thank you. Go back home now please :) it's getting dark." ⋆ She runs back into the forest. After she has run out of sight, Amaranth knocks the lantern over, setting fire to the grass. ⋆ A roaring sound approaches Xanadu and her friends. Quickly, they try to run but get trapped in the fire. Most drop dead to the ground, but Indicolite and Xanadu are still barely alive. ⋆ Amaranth disguises himself as another cat, and leaps toward Indicolite, taking her down. "Indicolite! No!" Xanadu cries out as they leap toward him. But it was too late. Indicolite had already succumbed to the growing flames, and Amaranth had taken Xanadu's eye out. ⋆ Amaranth appeared naturally for Xanadu now, staring her down. "This is all your fault." He says, stopping the flames with his words. "But- But I didn't mean to!" They cry. ⋆ Xanadu runs out into the forest, never to trust anyone again.
