Backstory: Reed suffers from short term memory loss (poor bean…) and therefor does not remember the tragic events of her past, (good..?) When she was only 4 years old, her mother died, leaving her alone with her father and older brother Fisher, who was only 6 at the time. Her father was devastated, and ended up scraping by only because of a generous friend. 5 years later, when Reed was only 9, her father died, leaving Fisher, who was only 11, to take care of her, having no other relatives. Now, 5 years later, Reed and Fisher live together alone in a small cottage they built. Reed manages to keep up a bubbly personality only because of her memory loss, which helps her forget the dark memories of her past. Sometimes she remembers, in dreams mostly, of the soft touch, and kind words of her mother, though she cannot picture a face…
