Coming in contact with its skin or teeth will burn as they cover themselves with a layer of magma and occasionally bathe in lava. They sometimes release steam, making it very foggy and hard for prey to see. They can stick on walls and ceilings and move toward their prey and since they are slow, they hunt in groups so they can corner their prey. Adults are found in the ash heaps and larvae which are smaller, half as slow as the adults, and have weaker attacks and health are found in the heat ducts.
