arrow keys to move x to jump z to shoot (out of ball form) or place bomb (in ball form) Varia suit protects you from heated rooms and reduces damage gravity suit allows you to move in liquids with ease Phazon suit slowly heals you (not in the original Metroid series) collecting super missiles powers up your normal missiles to open green doors (or you could just use power bombs for the doors) and super missile blocks (cannot use power bombs on them).
