Page three When we arrived at the shelter it was frightening. Dogs were howling in their cages, Cats were hissing and Birds were snapping at me. Clover tried to dig in the ground, she scratching her nails. It made a horrible sound. That night a couple came in a adopted us. We didn't like it, but we didn't have to hear the horrible sounds of the other animals in the Shelter. When the couple took us to their home they put us in an outdoor cage. While I was keeping watch of Clover I saw a kit of mine, the youngest named Marble. What are you doing out here I asked. Marble hesitated then said I was dared to go into the forest at night he said. How could so many kits go sneaking out at night without me knowing I thought to myself. Marble started digging under the cage. In a few hours with everyone working we finally got out just at the crack of dawn. When we got home I found all of my kits sitting outside talking about sneaking out at night. After that I will promise myself to watch their doors while they are sleeping.
