This is based on @squidchip's mode 7 concept https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/626415220/ The problem I had with that project is that it tries to do too much at once to be a viable option, so here are the two changes I made: 1: The engine is used in a tile based context. 2: To reduce whirling artifacts, I split the costume up into 90 degree parts.
