3/13/23 I'll add it to the studio once I remake the other 5... ~~ ~~ Personality: Mist is a very sensitive and sweet-tempered Eevee hybrid with a habit of daydreaming and a nose for the mysterious. However, she's fearful of getting into situations she does not understand and of getting those that she cares about hurt because of it-- due to this she can act a bit stubborn and distant when it comes to speaking what's on her mind. She's not very good at completely hiding her emotions from others though. She doesn't like confrontation and gets stressed when under pressure or great responsibility. She strongly dislikes the thought of burdening others with her own problems.* She almost always uses fighting as a last resort, but will if that is what is needed in order for her to defend herself or others close to her. *After being stuck too deeply in this mindset caused her to lose Sparky, she is working on opening herself up to others more. ~~ ~~ Bio (before the events of the RP): Mist was born to Fog, another shiny Eevee/Umbreon hybrid, and Jax, a nonhybrid Umbreon. She was named by her mother after Rain, Fog's sister who died saving the Egg that Mist would hatch from during a sudden storm, passing the dormant Sapphire powers she had unknowingly possessed to her niece in the process. Mist was soon introduced to Sparky, a Pichu born about a week or so earlier to a pair of Raichu that were good friends with her parents. The two young Pokemon became fast friends, forming a powerful bond and a strong brother-sister relationship. A few years later, their lives were shaken up one day when their parents were lost to an ambush of frighteningly powerful dark Pokémon. Mist and Sparky managed to escape and fled for the deeper wood. They accidentally discovered a hole under a tree that led to an underground cavern-- where luminescent plants gave off a cooling glow, and the soft sound of a small waterfall nearby calmed the nerves. Mist felt as if the place radiated a sort of magic. Sparky declared that they would live there and keep each other safe. And so it was that the secret hollow became their new home. ~~ Bio (during RP events): As time went by, the power of the Sapphire began to awaken within Mist. She became haunted by strange dreams at night, and would wake feeling mentally drained, even ill sometimes. When asked, Mist denied that there was anything wrong with her. She deeply internalized that denial and became distant from Sparky, hiding her condition from him in an effort to keep him from worrying about her. Meanwhile the dreams started to haunt her waking world as well, in the form of strange visions. When a particularly powerful vision resulted in her collapsing in a feverish state, she was forced to confront the fact that what she was experiencing was real, unable to deny the truth from herself any longer. Mist continued to keep the truth from Sparky, however, fearful to explore the reasoning behind her strange condition... She failed to notice her companion's growing frustration with her inability to confide in him, which culminated in a confrontation that led to him running away. After he disappeared, a guilt-stricken Mist became terrorized by a reoccurring vision of a dark place with a lot of fearful Pokémon, and Sparky staring down at her with a malicious smile. The thought of what might have happened to him chills her to the very core. She desperately wants to find him and make things right. ~~ ~~ Other things: -Mist is the current holder of the Sapphire Key. Though she has mostly only tapped into its power via visions, she has also subconsciously used "its "shielding" ability. -Her eyes were said to look similar to Rain's. -She has a fascination with magic in nature, the night sky, and the supernatural, and though still somewhat apprehensive, has grown more open to learning about herself and her power since Sparky's disappearance. -She's seen a glowing, blue spirit-like creature in the form of an Eevee in many of her more recent visions. She doesn't know much about it-- only that it seems to be tied to her power, that its voice appeared to warn her of danger during a vision of the Dark Realm, and also that it guided her to a place to rest her mind and spirit while she sleeps, tucked safely away from the terror of her nightmares. -She has no control over the light emitted from her rings. They glow automatically in dark places but also when she is under a significant amount of emotional pressure, which often coincides with her power.
