1. To start off, how long have you been creating art? · I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil, to be honest. But I didn't really take it seriously/put a lot of time into it until I was 9! 2. Do you consider yourself a beginner artist? · No, although there's always room for improvement! 3. How often do you draw? · Depends on my motivation level and how much other work I have to do—but often!! I really enjoy it :) 4. What art media do you have experience with? · Digital, colored/regular pencils, pens, acrylic paint, watercolors, crayons, oil/chalk pastels, regular chalk, scratchboards, clay, origami (a tiny bit, probably my weakest one), and other non-traditional media like literal lipstick on paper 5. What's your favorite medium? · Digital or pencil on paper! 6. What was the last thing you created/drew? · Doodles on my math papers hehe 7. What's your favorite thing to draw? · Characters! Whether it be fanart or my own characters or just a quick doodle that isn't really supposed to be anyone in particular, I love drawing characters and facial expressions! 8. Favorite color / color combination? · Depends on my mood?? Idk I feel it's unrealistic to have a favorite color or color combination, there's just so many lovely ones! 9. Least favorite color / color combination? · Color combinations with little contrast in hue and/or value get on my nerves a bit 10: What, in your opinion, is a feature that defines your artstyle? · Eyes! It's always been the eyes for me lol—and I think also the little dashes in between them 11. Do you prefer digital or traditional art? · I've grown so accustomed to digital art and it's so nice to use,, but I do like traditional I think I just need to get back into it 12. Do you flip your canvas, if you draw digitally? · When I remember to! 13. Vector or Bitmap? · Bitmappp 14. What's your favorite digital art app [and brush]? · I like Procreate and Ibis Paint X; I like the 6B Pencil on Procreate but don't have a favorite on Ibis Paint X. 15. How do you protect your art from theft? · Watermarks? And some monitoring I guess 16: Do you allow recoloring of your work? Tracing? · No, but I know it's bound to happen anyway. 17. Are you okay with people reposting your original art with credit? · Ehhh not really? If I want to spread out to more sites or whatever I will, I'd rather my work not be taken elsewhere. 18. Do you feel comfortable with people referencing your art? How heavily? · For learning purposes and implementing *some* characteristics into their own style, yes, but when it becomes incredibly obvious from whom they got the "inspiration" I think that's where I draw the line. 19. Do you have a main OC / persona? Who are they? · Yesss...? I've got my lil guy Ɪi, but he's more of just a mascot if that makes sense.
20. Halfway there—how many OCs do you have? · AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT—we needn't discuss the neglected children 21. Do you draw fanart? If so, for which fandom[s]? · Ohhhhhhh buddy you have no idea—I hyper-fixate on things pretty heavily so naturally a lot of fanart is created for basically anything I consume (that I like). 22. Name an aspect of art that you're really good at. · Facial expressions, I think? I don't struggle too much with making characters expressive. 23. Name something you'd like to improve on in your art. · ANATOMY HHHH 24. What are your favorite and least favorite parts of your artistic process? · I love sketching and coloring the art, but I'm usually disappointed with the final effects/result with digital art sooo 25. Who or what inspires you? · I will get inspired by literally anything. It's impressive. No like you guys I get inspired by grocery stores I'm— 26. Is there an artist that you think deserves more recognition? Who? · Every artist ever 28. Are you into animation? · YES I LOVE ANIMATION—I dabble in it occasionally and I loveee to see it 29. Are you considering art as a future career or a part-time job? If you have something else in mind, what is it? · I'm thinking of being a teacher in some form (language arts preferred) and having a webcomic on the side 30. Do you take [or have you taken] art classes? If so, what kind? · Yep, required in school. 31. What tips or advice would you offer to a beginner artist? · Don't give up even when it's hard. Remember why you wanted to do this in the first place, and work toward a goal! Have fun and practice! 32. Do you listen to anything while you draw? If so, what? · Not super often, if anything I listen to the shows my family watches in the background but I don't usually bother to put things on myself. 33. Do you sell your art online, in person, or at all? · I used to do DA commissions, but not anymore. 34. What are your go-to art materials? · iPad and Apple Pencil or a 0.9mm mechanical pencil and some math homework lol 35. Do you prefer drawing humans or animals? · Yes 36. Painting or sculpting? · Sculpting! I'm awful with paints. 37. Who is your favorite classical artist? · Ughhhhh uhh I don't know about *classical* but I really adore how Johannes Vermeer captured natural light in his paintings 38. Do you prefer realism, semi-realism, or cartoon? · I always love stylization, so cartoon :) 39. What is your favorite art piece by the classical artist you mentioned? · Girl With The Red Hat 40.
