On February 16, 2023, Denver Resident Gerald Kossner Heard loud rumbling noises in his front yard. When he checked his bedroom window, he saw a large dinosaur in his front yard. He called the local authorities, which tranquilized the animal and transported in to a nearby forest, where it was then identified as a sub-adult Apatosaurus, a sauropod dinosaur from the late Jurassic.
