Her mother jumped in to protect her, and she scrammed. Sage watched from a tree as her mother bravely fought. She eventually drove it away, but after the battle, the human taking care of them took Sage away. She ended up in a shelter where she was adopted. But Sage escaped, seeing her new scar as a message from the wild. 'Time to join the world, Sage.'
