If you haven't played one or the other, don't choose. I chose Wii. It's too nostalgic and they didn't make it so you can just hold the controller and it will do everything for you. You actually have to play and focus and you have to unlock the characters to be them which makes it harder to get bored of the game. The Wii also has the best version of Rainbow Road. The music is also the best. But the switch version? Gotta say the rainbow road music sucks. Doesn't have a catchy tune at all. You don't have to pay to play half the courses. The motion controls are also way better. The tiny switch controller makes it hard to really get immersed in the game and make it feel like you're actually in it. They also made the courses harder and not SO easy that you can go to the bathroom with a rock on your controller and it will drive for you. Let me tell you one thing. Nintendo nerfed Mario Kart so much that even a baby could play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and win.
