Instructions

Where Scrells terrorize the skies, Phantom Reapers prowl the ground and are deadly predators that will use their weapons and intelligence to stop at nothing to hunt prey. Here's why, you see Phantom Reapers and Scrells evolved from a common ancestor but they instead hunt in open lands and forests where they stalk prey and use a special membrane in their proto-fins to create a loud supersonic screech that will stun prey or kill small creatures. The shape of the proto-fin will help to make the sound louder by bouncing the sound back and forth before releasing it. They hunt at night and use their extraordinary electromagnetic senses to track prey using the prey's electrical currents a little like sharks. They sneak up on prey and release their devastating roar and then rip their prey limb from limb and even tear out their insides. They pose a great danger to most land and arboreal creatures and must be avoided at all costs. They will hunt a creature down but like few animals on Earth, they will sometimes torment and play with their food before they rip it apart with no mercy. They hunt alone, but if there is powerful prey they will team up and relentlessly attack and show no fear, like a Honey Badger. Despite how they seem like monsters that only want to kill, mothers are fiercely protective of their young and will sacrifice their lives to save their young. Since they mostly live in or near the desert they are almost all albino or light in color to reflect harmful Ultraviolet rays from Trestrea's star. They will run at speeds of about 66 mph and have hollow, lightweight bones to decrease their weight. Their giant eye is actually a compound eye which means they are made up of thousands of tiny eyespots. They also have a 360 degrees view so they can see their sides and sky and some behind at the same time. Their eyes can see well in the dark but they rely more on their electromagnetic senses. Their eyes have 2 layers of transparent membrane protecting their eyes from dust and damage. Young have smaller eyes, and shorter tail, their back legs are still small and useless, and have a big thick muscular tongue to rip food. They sometimes cannibalize when food is scarce. A fungal infection seems to infect them, disabling their electromagnetic senses and weakening them. I will research more about the infection later. They will charge at jeeps and vehicles and try to rip them open, so proceed with caution, especially at the night.
